This is where the story begins.

Before I arrive in Zambia, this section will follow the slightly chaotic, occasionally practical and mostly well-intentioned process of getting there.

There will be updates on preparations, packing, vaccinations, flights, fundraising, nerves, excitement, and the many unexpected questions that appear when you realise an idea has become an actual plane ticket.
