Positive Impact 20 won’t begin when I board a plane, and it won't end when I come home.

This journal follows the project from preparation and fundraising, through my time volunteering in Zambia, and into the reflections and lessons that come afterwards.

Along the way I'll be sharing stories, photographs, challenges, successes, unexpected moments, and the occasional reminder that volunteering abroad involves a surprising amount of paperwork, vaccinations and logistical planning.

The story is divided into three chapters: Departures, Field Notes, and Arrivals.
